Have you seen this wonderful new thread called Sparkles? a very new and interesting “embellishment trim” that has so many possibilities…but how to use it? Now that is the million dollar question! These were some of the new colors introduced at the latest TNNA market.

Join the San Diego American Needlepoint Guild for a wonderful day with the ooh so talented Barbara Elmore as she tells us everything we ever wanted to know about Sparkles. She will answer all your questions. Bend it, shape it, shred it, mold it and watch Barbara create interesting and unique effects on your canvas. This is not for every canvas, but every so often you come across that special piece that just screams for something oh very special!

A beautiful venue that is located in La Jolla. There is a refrigerator there to keep your lunch, snacks and beverages chilled while we learn everything we can from Barbara. Join us please, why don’t you? There are a limited number of seats available, so don’t miss out.

I am sorry to say that you really need to be present to take this class as this is one that you need to see what Barabra does. I know that I am really looking forward to it!

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
