Here We Go!

again… as I pack and ready for my trip to Hotlanta tomorrow, which I realize that it will  be no where close to hot! So I decided that I should get my favorite jacket out and make sure that it is not too wrinkled or covered with too much cat hair. Well by the time I move her royal highness I am sure that the latter will be true. I should know better by now, I should know that this is an instant cat magnet…what was I thinking?

Did you watch the Oscars last night? I did and I never did get to Downton as I was enjoying  it too much to change. Who would’ve thunk that Lady Gaga had THAT voice? WOW! and John Legend and Common singing which was so moving… and Graham Moore, winner for best adapted screenplay for The Imitation Game “stay weird and stay different.”

and for now back to packing and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

  1. I didn’t get to see Lady Gaga sing, though I would have enjoyed it. But I did manage to catch the top six Bests…actor, actress, supporting same, director and picture. Downton is really steaming ahead with so many unresolved irons in the fire…series finale next week!

Have fun in Atlanta. I always find cat fur on my clothes in the suitcase. Fur everywhere…we just live with it…

  2. Ooooh! Get the cat off the jacket so we can see it better!! 🙂 It looks like a quilted piece and looks beautiful. If I remember correctly, or perhaps incorrectly, you have a relative that quilts.? Did someone make that for you?
