I used the Silken Straw to stitch Meet Mrs. Cat’s broom…
Here she is really all finished being stitched!

I haven’t used or felt Strawsilk yet. What kind of feel does it have? It looks “crispy”, if that’s a word to describe thread.
No not crispy… or at least this one. There is one made by Thread Gatherer’s that is like that. But this is smoother… I have used for beach houses, haystacks, roofs and now a broom stick. Not meant to be laid smoothly
Hmm, I’m needlepointing a rooster and maybe I’ll look into the Strawsilk for some hay scattered around the ground. Thanks, Vicky.
