The show was awesome as always! I love, love, love…did I say love going to market? To see all the new and wonderful canvases, threads and books. To see all the rock stars of the needlepoint world…and even to meet a new one too. All is so very exciting! Socializing at night with a big girl drink, finding new restaurants (just ask Leigh where they are going!) and visiting a few favorites.
The halls as you walked towards our rooms once inside the convention center made it very welcoming and inviting.
This was my star of the show! a canvas in the making as at the moment this is but just a picture. But isn’t this amazing? artwork by Larry Jones and will be in the collection’s line. Just ask your LNS to order it for you! I know that there is one out there with my name on it.
This was another star of the show for me! My chatelaine that I have been anxiously waiting for and it was so worth the wait. Tony Minieri delivered this to me in person and it is just purr~fect! Tony’s husband Luis makes these one of a kind pieces and you can find more of a selection on Tony’s website. I actually brought a blouse to best show it off… and it worked! Thank you Luis and I really do love, love, love this.
My kids and they are really my true stars. I hope that you missed me as much as I missed you!
and until next time…keep on stitching
Hi Vicki – so nice to meet you at market. I am one of the M’s staff. Glad you are back home safely. Enjoy each of your blogs. Thanks!
Nice meeting you too Karen! and thank you…
Welcome baaaaaaack! Nice chatelaine…love the glass kitty beads. Of course you had to buy a blouse to show it off! Your kids were well taken care of while you were gone, but no doubt they missed you. I am my friend’s kitty nanny when she is out of town. She and her family just returned from an Alaskan Cruise. However, she says her kitty wanders around the house looking for me for days after their return!
yes they sleep on me for days after I get back as if to say we’re not letting you leave us again!
