I’m Feline Fine!

After finishing my Thanksgiving piece, I thought that I would reward myself with a little stitching for me…well why not? I think that I earned that! I haven’t done much of that lately, you know stitching for myself.

This was a class that I took at the June TNNA Summer Market. Boo Kitty, a Melissa Shirley canvas, stitch guide by June McKnight and taught by June. Great class!

Boo Kitty is finished and it went out to the finishers already! I will keep my fingers crossed that it might get back in time for Halloween. If not there is always next year. I made very few changes from the stitch guide to what I actually stitched. I think she’s pretty cute, don’t you? This would be a great canvas to stitch to put you in the Halloween mood. I am sure that your LNS would be happy to order this for you!

I broke in my new scissors this week. Premax scissors and highly recomended by Tony Minieri…well that sold me!

and my new fob! A special gift from a wonderful friend. Check out the cute little black cat! and now check out this cute little black cat….

The temperatures dropped below 90 and I guess she felt a chill! and until next time…keep on stitching.

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

  1. I love Boo Kitty! And the new fob, amazing. I got one with an egyptian bastet from a special friend. She’d really need a blanket here in Iowa, it 35! Off to stitch! Have a great day. Thanks for all the ideas you share.
