I’ve Got It!

Have you seen it yet? do you have yours? Well if you haven’t figured out yet what I am talking about, well… it’s the new book by Jo or the bible as we have called it for years. And it’s still the bible even though it is new and revised.

Note that the cats do rule! as how many cat canvases do you see on the cover? I believe it is not one, but TWO!

and I’m in the book again! With the Rainbow Birds by Laurel Burch from Danji Designs that I stitched with Brenda Hart. I never said anything to anyone as I wanted to make sure that what was selected to be photogrpahed really was in the book.

I really haven’t had a chance to pour myself into the book and get lost reading and absorbing every bit possible in just one night…but I’ve got that to look forward to this weekend.

It is raining this morning and it is so wonderful and so needed. We just need so much more rain, really days and days of it. But we will take whatever Mother Nature wants to give us.

Look closely as there is 2 cats in that pile!

and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

  1. A few weeks ago, I picked up a near mint condition 2nd edition at a used book shop for $7.50. So, I will probably not get the 3rd ed. yet… I have to find some time to pour over it too, as I’ve never read the entire book. Are your photos deceiving me, or are Sylvester and AlleyCat sleeping together a little more now?

  2. Congratulations on having your piece pictured in The Bible. That is quite an honor and it is a lovely piece. I am enjoying reading my new copy and learning a great deal.
