something…something!

I finally did get my preview copy from the published for being in Jo’s book! and I thank you for my book. I always love getting something in the mail or from those that wear those brown shorts…how about you?

Well since I have already purchased my book and I really don’t need two of them, I thought that we would gift it to one of you. So if you leave us a note, it can be to me or to the cats, I will do a drawing for it by the end of the month or when the comments totally taper off. It will be great summer reading, which BTW is right around the corner!

Was I getting the cold shoulder or what?

Good luck to all! and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

  1. AWWW, just helping you check email! Thanks for this fantastic give-away…I have read so many positive reviews about this newly revised edition. Would love to have it for a summer read in my soon to be new backyard! Thanks, Vicky!

  2. I really need this book. It would be fun to win it! I will probably get the App when it comes out. Congratulations on returning to NeedleNook. Do you remember that I had my dog with me when I came with my two stockings? He was a tan and white Papillon and you fell in love with him, as you should. You were so helpful to me trying to get two stockings finished for my twins who are now 8! Wish I lived closer now……

  3. good morning, my day doesn’t start until I check out your blog with it’s tips and tidbits of needlework news. glad to see you back at the nn.

  4. Dear Sylvester and AlleyCat,

I’d love to be in the running for The Needlepoint Book! Especially since your cousin is on the cover! Do you think you can get Vicky to sign it for me?

    Thanks,

    Joan

  5. No really this is the “You’ve been on the computer too long” stance. Hug those kitties, I’ll bet the less traveling will be a-ok for the kitties. Congratulations on the new job, however I too would be totally tempted way too often. Thanks for opportunity to win. Have a great day.

  6. Alley cat (I think) don’t ignore your Mom, she’s too good to you!
Hope you’re just busy typing in all our names for a chance to win the new Needlepoint Book!

  7. Gee, I hope that randomizer picks #1 – I would love to win!

And I have three dogs who get along with cats! They wave their paws at your kitties!

  8. I need this book! Needlepoint stitch books are my favorites and I do not have this one. Hope my # is the winner! Thanks for sharing!

  9. I was just about to order “The Needlepoint Book” and decided to check the blogs I follow first. Imagine my surprise to find you are actually giving me a chance to win my own copy! Woo-hoo!
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. Hello to you and the kitties. It’s so generous of you to share your extra copy. I have the oldest one but have heard that there are many good additions to this one. I’d love to add it to my growing library of needlepoint reference books. Perhaps one of the kitties could autograph it, along with you?

  11. Love your blog – especially the kitty pics! I have two black ones myself (plus two blue ones and a big black dog), so I they make me feel happy. 🙂

  12. Vicky,

I just pulled my 1999 version of this book off the shelf and saw your lovely “Cat and Feet” in it. It has withstood the test of time and still looks wonderful!
