I am not coming up with a very clever title this morning, one that would grab your attention and make you think “well I have to see what this is all about”?! or one that would be as they say the curiousity got the cat! So we will just leave it as is, as the question that I have been asking myself most of the morning “What do I call this”?
I enjoyed a wonderful stitching evening last night with Sylvester at my side and AlleyCat on my lap, my threads and books close by so I wouldn’t disturb their royal highnesses. You know some times I get the “look” from them as if they were saying “don’t you even think about moving” Sylvester is good and usually leaves my threads alone, unless one happens to move too close to his face and then of course as all good cats should, he swats at it. AlleyCat on the other hand could care less about the threads, but she sheds so much that I am always pulling her cat hair out of my stitching.
I was able to finish the plume on bird #1! With the addition of the cross stitch of Kreinik, finishing the criss-cross Hungarian, it really does mask the black and gold lines. Also stitched around the eye of the middle bird and began planning my next move. There are so many great stitches and threads that Brenda has selected, that it is tough making up my mind. Decisions! Decisions!
I may take a night off from stitching, but who knows for sure? and until next time…keep on stitching
This is going to be just stunning. I am in awe of your stitch choices and threads. It’s going to be fun following your progress!
Nancy
Vicky,
This is the most beautiful canvas! And I know you will do it justice. I just can’t wait to see it all come together – you are inspiring me.
Give the kitties a hug for me. Last night between stitches I clipped 30 feline claws, and no blood was shed. That’s a successful evening!
That plume looks amazing. Great stitch & fiber selection, beautifully executed. Cannot wait to see more.
I would call it, “This is too much fun to put my needle down!” And I would add to your kitties comment, “Don’t even think about moving….day or night!” Love hearing about the little fur-bearing memebers of your family. And I’m looking forward to following as you stitch.
great and informative stuff… thank you very much.
Hey Dearie!
Love following your Bog…it’s like hanging out a couple of times a week. I confess to
not being able to check every day. Need more hours in the day! Hey, yes I’ll be in Dallas, and I am totally on for RISE!…Missy, Colleen? Any other Takers?
I did the cutest new little design for Dallas!…can’t wait for the reveal…tiny
little Halloween squares, because the Bats got lonely…and 6 tiny topiary stand ups.
All for now!!!
Oh, by the way the plumeage is turning gorgeous on your boids! :~)
Hi Kelly! I can’t wait to see you and your new Halloween canvases in Dallas. I am so flattered that you have been having coffee with me in the mornings.
Thank you very much.
I would like to thank you very much for the work you have made in writing this blog post. I am hoping the same most reliable work from you later on as well.
