Pischke Pockets

As a needle artist, we have lots of stuff in lots of bags and one can never have too much stuff or too many bags! So this will be a new bag for me and and even newer adventure stitching on 10 mesh canvas! This is a Pische Pocket and I am sure that I can hear many of you saying, what is that? A Pischke Pocket is a wonderful collaboration of a handwoven cotton bag with leather handles and a needlepoint that will be added to the front of the bag. I think that it is a brilliant idea and the quality of what is included with the bag is over the top!

The 10 mesh canvas, yes 10 mesh and just think how fast will this stitch up! It is packaged with threads chosen to compliment the bag. A beautiful selection of Anchor Tapestry tapestry wools, a few select specialty threads and a thread packet needed to sew on your pocket are all included. There are very detailed instructions in your kit so that you can finish it yourself either as a pocket on the bag or just sewn it on directly. Go to their website for their video that will walk you through the process. The idea of a Pischke Pocket Party intrigues me and I wonder how it went! read all about it on their website http://pischkepockets.com

I am looking forward to starting mine tonight! and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
