Another Day in Dallas

and where has the time gone to? The show has been a flurry of activity as shops are shopping and vendors are even busier selling all their wonderful canvases, threads and accessories. It seems that I have been awake this morning since before the crack of dawn, since the thunderstorm woke me up a few hours ago, so I just decided to get up.

This is Needle Deeva’s room as it looks to you as from the hallway. The Creepy Characters hang proudly in the window and have been quite the hit as they catch everybody’s eye as they pass by! The Halloween cupcakes, the Halloween kids and the finished models proudly show themselves off on the iPad.

Sunday was the first day that the sales floor was opened. I came upstairs a little early to blog and got as far as getting the pictures loaded and that was it! Before I knew the day was over and it was time for my class and then out to dinner, a little relaxation, an amazing meal at Rise and great conversation along with a little wine.

For some reason blog is being very difficult by not letting me add any more pictures this morning. I might need to do this in more than one post, so you will probably see me later today. and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

  1. Thanks for the photo Vicky – as usual all – Vicky has done a beautiful job on decorating the showroom, and our store owners have been thrilled to have her here on her first teaching job. She is so talented and calm – what a great teacher she will make!

Thank so much for the “peak” at Dallas. Looks like fun but oh so busy. I think you are having alot of fun and Deeva Herself knows what I knew about you long ago. Great teacher and stitcher and what a gift wrapper and gift buyer you are. You are very talented and so happy for you to be able to show those talents Keep up the good work.

  3. Needle Deeva’s Halloween temptations are fantastic! The room looked great. Glad that the show was successful for you. And, Vicky, I am glad that we had souffles and a ‘little wine’ two nights, back to back! Keep up the good work — I have heard nothing but raves about your class.
