Destination Dallas is winding down and I still have so much more to share with you! The show was so busy that I had little time to do much else except to be with the Deeva and help her sell canvases, which is a great problem to have. The shops were really buying as they just wanted to take the canvases & stitch guides back to their shops for you! It was a great market and I am sorry to see it come to a close.
I had very little time to shop for myself, which I guess is good? Many of these pictures were taken as I was hurrying through the halls, and some I did quickly poke my head inside. This is Sundance’s room and I just love the ribbons! Do you see their new bags in the window? They are so colorful and were pretty much sold out by the time I got there to look at them. The new sequins that they are now stocking were quite the hit as those too were close to being sold out!
This is Kelly Clark’s window as she shows off allot of her tassels! Kelly’s new canvases for Destination Dallas were these mini Halloween canvases, some of which are snippets of the Halloweenies and some new designs such as this scarecrow. There are 6 in the group and I want to stitch them all. Did I get your attention when I said Halloween?
Last but not at all least are this thread packs being put together by ThreadworX. Does this not scream Halloween?
I finally figured out why I was having so much trouble with the blog this morning…the rains, hail, wind, thunder & lightening that we were having was reaking havoc with my assigned duties! I probably won’t see you for a few days as soon as my feet land back in San Diego I am headed to the baseball game! I am so looking forward to it! and until next time…keep on stitching
Great synopsis of the doings in Dallas! Fun photos. What a wonderful weekend surrounded by friends, needlepoint and, oh yeah … souffle! Safe journey back to the west coast. My flight back to Baltimore was a bit turbulent (that might be the understatement of the millenium!) but uneventful. Hope that your team does well. Apparently, the O’s played a good home opener today.
Are you going to see the Padres play, Vicky?
Yes I did Jane! and what a great game!
Glad you enjoyed it. Wave to my cousin. Brad’s in the front office for them now. Step One on the road to a managing gig I am sure.
Dear Vicky, You are a sweetheart!! Great to see you in Dallas, and Thanks for the
