Destination Dallas and until next time…

This was the view through the window at Dream House Ventures as you passed by. They have allot of their own amazing designs and several wonderful artists in their line such as Mindy and so many more…too many to mention. They also carry the Pure Palette thread line which includes Baroque Silk, Soy Luster, Glitterati and Empress Elite. They had these clever packages made up of a selection of Baroque Silk and a spool of Glitterati. In case you have never used Gliterrati, it is a Kreinik like thread in great mix of colors. Here they have a Christmas and a Halloween thread mix. I couldn’t decide on which one, so I got both! Now tell me, how was I to pick just one?

Now I am a sucker for any canvas that has a cat! I learned years ago from Doug Kreinik, that a cat person will stitch anything with a cat on it! Now this is a black cat and Halloween. What could be better?  This is a new canvas by Sandra Gilmore that was at Fleur de Paris.

Another canvas by Sandra Gilmore has me wishing for a dish of hand made Italian gelato, which is the name of this one!

I am in love with these thread packets from ThreadworX. They are called Thread Candy Twists are designed with themes of color and project ideas! What a great idea. There are several different combinations with names like Santa’s Workshop, Spooky Nights, Seuss Chrsitmas, Fall Y’all, Hanukah & Winter and O’Holy Night.

These packets will be filled with ThreadworX threads such as their overdyed floss, Expressions and Legacy. Look for them in a few months at your favorite needlework shop! You could use the Santa’s Workshop on this new canvas that is part of Tapestry Tent line carried by Susan Roberts. Look at Santa dancing with the teddy bear! too cute

I have a few more pictures for tomorrow. I need to pick up my needle and start working on the Rainbow Birds. and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
