Two months from today will be the day after Thanksgiving! Can you believe that? Even though it is too late to have these finished for this years Thanksgiving…you can start thinking about them for next year! This is a set of canvases designed by NeedleDeeva that I stitched for her and am presently working on the stitch guides.
The November/December issue of Needlepoint Now will feature Chief Wampanoag on the back cover along with another family member; Matthew Williams of the Thanksgiving family. But for now I thought that the Princess Wampanoag would want to be alongside the Chief.
The new year of 2013 will kick off a NeedleDeeva Select Retailers Thanksgivng Club for your stitching pleasure. The threads have been painstakingly carried from canvas to canvas so that they can be shared among most of the canvases.
The pieces are all but finished now, even though the stitch guides are far from being ready for print. The 2 are ready for the magazine, but the rest need allot of TLC yet, stitches to be drawn, cover pages to be created, a special font to be selected and a master thread list to be finished. I have a few more hours yet to go on the backdrop of the piece, but it has been way too hot for “serious designing and stitching” lately. Mother Nature has forgotten that this is San Diego where normally it doesn’t get hot in the summertime, or if it does it just for a few days. It again hit the century mark yesterday. Enough already!
These are the select retailers that so far will be participating with this…and listed in no preferential order, but rather alphabetically.

We should thank Cindy from Wellesley Needlepoint for coming up with this idea for this set of canavses and getting the Deeva to design them! The shops won’t have canvases yet, and may not have all the needed info yet…but you can be thinking about it. The Thanksgiving peeps as I call them are with Barbara at her shop in Sioux Falls, SD as they await her magic fingers to finish them into something most spectacular.
I spent the day in front of my fan stitching away and watching baseball. Even the cats were melted into the carpet at times. They don’t approve of my fan, I guess it makes too much noise for them.
The weather is supposed to be cooling down and that is good as I have lots and lots of must be stitching to get busy with.
Guess who? I had a hard time convincing her that it was not any cooler outside.
and until next time…keep on stitching
Absolutely wonderful! What a cute set!
Thanks!
