You may have seen my Atenti bag empty and you may have seen it full of felines…
This is Murray and he was the first feline who graced the bag with his prescence. This picture was taken on my phone and even though Murray is bigger than life…this is as big as the picture will get!
Sylvester has kinda of adopted the bag as his and sleeps in it on a regular basis, except for when I am traveling. This is my carry on bag when I am flying, laptop, iPad, camera, books, magazines, snacks, cat hair, whatever. Even though I would love to take Sylvester along, he stays at home.
Saturday, my boarding section was called and I am headed down to the walkway to get on the plane when all of a sudden from in back of me I hear this faint “stop the boarding process!” okay now what did I do? what happened? the darling young lady from Southwest that was scanning our boarding passes comes up behind me and says “I have to have that bag!” and “where did you get it?” Whew, well at least I was relieved that I was going to get on that plane!
I get soooooooooooooooooo many compliments on this bag. Everyone and everywhere! From ladies and gentlemen and even from 2 police men that I ran into in the San Diego airport awhile back. They told me that they had a bag just like it ’cause they loved it so much! When asked where to get it, I tell the admirers the brand and look for it in knitting and needlework stores. Maybe the next time you see an Atenti Bag at your favorite needlework shop, you should get one for yourself or even for your cats! They do retire the fabrics every so often, so if you love it, don’t pass it by.
For everyone who asked, the ANG anniversary magnet will be available through the ANG website from the company that handles the jewelry. I would give them some time to get it set up before you try to order it.
So the laundry is done, the plants are watered, my work is mostly finished and this morning is breakfast at The Cottage…gotta go as it has been way too long and I don’t want them to forget me?! A quick stop for some threads that I was not able to chase down while at seminar and I will be back home to add the finishing touches to whatever and work stitch. Packing and getting ready for Baltimore is also on my to do list.
AlleyCat does not get in “that bag” as it seems that she prefers the bags from Trader Joe’s. Maybe its the noise that she likes. Such a funny girl she is.
and until next time…keep on stitching
Good to see it is back to normal, for you and for us. We miss the “duo” too.
Thank you Palma!
I have the exact same Atenti bag. It is the most awesome bag I own and yes, people stop me all the time to find out where I got it. Worth every penny!!
I love my bag!
