Let me introduce you to team Deeva. Well first of all there is Bailey, who always seems to be stealing the show! but he is a gorgeous cat and of course I forgive him. Then there is Robin who in this venture is the professional photographer of needlepoint creating such “purrfect” pictures. There is me, Vicky who stitches some of these canvases of Needle Deeva’s. Then there is, well of course, the Deeva herself! the creator of these wonderful canvases. Can’t you tell that I absolutely love stitching her canvases?
Half of team Deeva is getting ready to head to Destination Dallas. The spring needlework show, that is of the four shows that I attend, my most favorite of them all! It is a cash and carry show, only opened to the trade and is held in the Embassy Suites. This show really encourages new canvases to be debuted, which is what we all love to see! So if you are going to the show, make sure you stop by and visit Needle Deeva in room #403. See for yourself the new Creepy Characters Halloween characters that will be out in a few short months! We will have 4 stitched models, lots of other models and many new stitch guides available.
I always look forward to seeing the new designs, also the oldies but goodies, the friendly and familiar faces and of course wining and dining after the show closes. Missy, our social director is coming from Baltimore just to organize our evening dining pleasures at Rise, a most amazing restaurant! and I can’t wait! and until next time…keep on stitching
Vicky, I cannot wait to catch up and see the new spooky critters in all of their seasonal finery! And yes, reservations have been made at Rise for both Saturday and Sunday and a fun time is sure to be had by all. I am counting the moments until I dive into an escargot souffle and finish up with a bread pudding souffle, washing everything down (liberally) with a bottle of white wine! See you soon.

It is a wonderful show – I’m pretty sure that it is the best one of the year, and according to one of the hard working directors, this year it will have more “LNS’S” than any other show. All of that flying fibre in one hotel, for one weekend – it’s better than chocolate….maybe not, but close.
So, wonderful blog readers, and Facebook followers, if you want to meet Vicky and see the beautiful things she stitches – come to room 403 and join us for some See’s dark chocolate and handi wipes and cruise the stuff we do. Sorry Bailey, handsome critter that you are, you don’t fit into one of those dog jackets that get you into all of the hotels – think of all of the needlepoint you could guard!
