Dishwashing Pixie is Coming to Life!

Yes she really is showing life! as I stitch away on her and giving her a little attitude, a little sparkle in her eyes. I think that she would be a wonderful addition in your kitchen, cleverly framed and would be quite the topic of conversation among your friends and family. Who knows, maybe one night while you were fast asleep, she would magically do your dishes for you? One can hope can’t you?

In my mind she should really be done by now! I have spent allot of time with experimental stitching. All I really have left is the brush which will be done  randomly with boucle, and might I add that that word “random” is a bad word in my stitching dictionary. Also adding the last of the bubbles which I will say Miss Sharon G, even with the straw and all your comments about how easy it is to do…it is not! I am going to show up one night in your room in Columbus for an impromptu bubble making lesson!

Ooh and her skirt. Ruth has an amazing idea that I will keep underwraps for now, that I tried & tried the other night. I sent a picture to Ruth asking that million dollar question, “Does this make my butt look too big?” She was very gracious saying, well that is not exactly how I envisioned it. So she too will be giving me lessons at Columbus next week.

Ruth did send me another pixie, which I have started selecting the threads and seeing the stitches in my mind. She should be showing her face to you very soon! Sylvester was entertaining himself and well me too…playing with part of the straw! and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
