Happy St Patrick’s Day!

Okay I know that you are probably saying, now what does the “Fanciful Fish” purse have to do with St Patrick’s Day? Well I looked really hard for something with green in it. I thought allot about it as I went through my picture library to see what was there. An assortment of green threads gathered together would have been prefect, but I didn’t think soon enough about it! I went for the camera and unfortunately I have no charge in camera battery.

The canvas by Needle Deeva, stitched by me, finishing by Meredith & Sugar at the Elizabeth Turner Collection and photography by Robin King. It is amazing what a group of women can do when they work together.

The stash enhancement trip was a blast! as we added lots of new threads and a few canvases to the cause. I will share them with you at another time. My sister and I stitched the night away with the cats at our sides. I am working on my heart as I did find the perfect color of Needlepoint Inc silk in the Wisteria range for one of the  flowers. I want to add beads to the stitch, but now I am being challenged by that color. So the search continues! and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
