What a busy and fun day! We woke up early morning to quite the thunderstorm, rain and lightening! Now I thought it was raining cats and dogs in San Diego last week, this sure topped it. We were anxiously awaiting the opening if the convention hall so that we could setup and get ready for our Sample It! night.

This is the Deeva herself adding the last of the canvases in her booth! It is amazing watching the transformation of the hall throughout the day. In the morning it looks like organized chaos and gradually throughout the day it turns into a shopping paradise, and will be finished up this morning with the final touches on displays, a little adjustment here and there and finally today it will be lights, camera, action!

I was able to sneak away for a few hours yesterday to attend my class with Sharon G, 11th hour Triptych. A perfect sized canvas packed with amazing ideas and the most wonderful threads including lots of Gloriana Threads, Kreinik and Sundance Beads. I learned lots from Sharon and Anne Frazer the creator of Gloriana was in our class! We thank her too for generosity of her donations of threads to make the canvas so special!

Ooh I almost forgot to say! we were a hit at Sample It! as we SOLD OUT! that was so exciting!

Today I have a class with Julia Snyder and then it will be off to work. and until next time…keep on stitching
