Sew Much Fun!

Well isn’t that what needlepoint should be all about…having fun? I think so! That really is the name of this designer!

Waking up this morning thinking about what I could gab about and trust me I am usually a little more prepared than that. I surfed around awhile looking for inspiration and as Elizabeth says all of a sudden I had that “ta da” moment when it came to me! I have been seeing allot of gab on Facebook about Sew Much Fun and the introduction of a new stitchy club by Fireside Stitchery of these Danglies. They are 3 dimensional Christmas ornaments with a sense of humor using creative stitches and thread selections. You can see them hanging toward the bottom of this tree.

I just love these wonderful ideas that are then designed by these 3 ladies from Sew Much Fun. There is the design ideas person, then the stitcher and then the marketer. They do their finishing too! What can’t these talented ladies do?

One of the newer designs is this darling “Bearmitzvah.” Oh isn’t he wonderful?
Look at his yamaka, the Star of David, ooh the stitches and in all the proper colors.
He has his Tallis bag too! Probably lovingly stitched by a family member. They tell me that they are designing a bear for the young ladies too. I love this so much that I wish that I knew someone special that I could stitch this for!
This is too cute for words! No canines in this house though, but maybe I should stitch it anyway? Maybe not as I am sure that my CFO, which would be The Chief Feline Officer would not give her paws of approval.
In the mean time, I better call Fireside since I am thinking that I am doing this club. and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
