The stockings were hung…

as I show just a little look of  2 more of Ruth’s stockings! This is another amazing color combination that you must be thinking “are you kidding me?” This was stitched with Thread Gatherer Silk ‘N Colors Goober Green, and please tell me who thinks up these thread names? Silk Lame Braid in red, Krienik colors in white and yellow, Frosty Rays in Fuschia and lots of beads! This was another one that was really a pleasure to stitch for me and was sad to say that it was finished.

There are 6 stockings that were designed by Ruth in this series, and every two are color co-ordinated to each other. They share allot of the same threads, but them some new threads are also introduced. This one has a few additional colors of beads and threads.

The Deeva and I are almost finished getting the all the show orders on the UPS truck. It has been a wild and crazy few days as we shared lots of laughs, stories, ideas about the needlework industry, great food, wine and the best part of all, our friendship. I will be headed back to San Diego tomorrow and am anxious to see Sylvester and Alley Cat who of course will give me a mouthful for leaving them alone! and until the next time…keep on stitching!

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
