Turn Back the Hands of Time!

Well did you? For some of us, we got an extra hour of sleep this morning….for me not so much. The dogs didn’t realize that the clocks fell back an hour and that it wasn’t time for me to get up, let them out and serve their morning snack. All they knew is that it was time for me to get vertical! Guess who is the boss around here? well it case you didn’t figure it out, it’s not me! Well we did all go back to bed and sleep a but more.

For me it was an extra hour of stitching last night as I burned the midnight oil keeping my little stitching fingers very busy. So many canvases to stitch and such little time! The clock is one of the vignettes from Lani’s Alice in Wonderland.

I was straightening up things in the kitchen yesterday and turned around to see these darling faces watching me. That would be Mabel on the left and Ollie on the right. Mabel really has me wrapped around her paw (well they all do) especially when she looks at me with those eyes of hers!
I head home in a few days to the cats and hopefully they still remember me. Between trying to get all the work in that I can before I leave and travel schedules, I will say that I am going to take some much needed time off…so see you later in the week. I still have lots more to share from my trip to the Pacific Northwest from Saturday Market at Eugene, Voodoo Donuts, Mindy’s Needlepoint Factory, Steelhead Brewery and I even sampled a little pumpkin beer. Not at all like I thought as it is farthest from tasting like a pumpkin pie! I have stitched with new threads, played with some new must have toys and assisted with photo shoots for product reviews. I have missed classes with Brenda Hart, Meredith Willett in 2 different shops and ooh so much more!
and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
