“Kindness” by Sandra Gilmore was probably one of my favorite canvases at the show. Well there is always more than one stop me in my tracks and look twice, depending on if I feel like stitching serious or maybe elegant or stitching in the season or of course one can never stitch too many cat canvases!
This is a limited edition of just 10 canvases by Labors of Love. What makes this so special is that her hands, face, hair with ornaments and fan are hand sculpted. I can just imagine this canvas stitched with amazing stitches, beads, goldwork and oh my goodness, the possibilities are endless!
A Chinese Coat by Dream House Ventures. The expanses of the perfectly painted canvas in large swatches of colors make for great backdrops for stitches and thread selections!
This is a darling little canvas by dede of a baby elephant standing in the shadows of mother elephant. I see beads on the headress and ankle jewelry and the rest of the canvas done in a light stitch.
These geisha faces by Lani are amazing! I don’t know how I could select just one of these gorgeous canvases… maybe I would need to do all of them!
Colors of Praise is a relatively new artist and this was one of their new canvases for this market. This is a larger canvas and would be a great for an enhancement class.
This one is for you AlleyCat! Canvas is by HP Designs and is called “Standoff” and this is so her! I am sure when I open the door tonight, she will give me a mouthful of meows for about 10 minutes as she lets me know that she was not pleased that I left her. and until next time…keep on stitching
