As I get ready to fly home from the beautiful Pacific Northwest to San Diego, I know that I will just have a few short days to turn around and get ready for Baltimore. Clothes to wash and pack, stitching to bring along, Needle Deeva models to carefully pack up, stitch guides to print and package… and feline the children will need lots of extra love and attention since I will be leaving them again.
Team Deeva will be in Baltimore for the Fall Cash & Carry Market and I still don’t understand how a show in the middle of August can be called a fall market? Oh well! Team Deeva will be there anyway, with the the Deeva running the show…followed up by Robin King and myself. Deeva’s charming husband Greg will be joining us too and he will in charge of finances! We are so looking forward to an East Coast Market and hope to see you too.
There have been weeks and weeks of planning and ideas being shared between us, canvases ordered, shopping lists prepared, bags and tissue paper ordered for Early Bird Sales, stitch guides written, price lists and catalogues updated and printed and gosh what did we forget? Now it is the down to the last minute dash to get everything taken care of. Airline tickets, hotel reservations, car rentals and the hopes of discovering new and amazing dining experiences await us.
You will find us in Room 618 on Friday night August 12th ready and open for Early Bird Sales. Come and see us and do a little early shopping. We will have lots of wonderful canvases to tempt you with! This will be the other group of hearts along with the first group that were the sellout at Columbus Sample It night…packaged together with stitch guides for your customers stitching pleasure. Shop with the Deeva during the Early Bird event and your name will be placed in a drawing for a stocking!
Thank you very much to Elizabeth and her charming husband Jay, and of course Reggie and Shawnee the poodles, Elmore James the cat, the frogs that inhabit the pond, all of the Needlepoint Now friends and family and last but not least the T.A.R.T.S. for a wonderful visit to their little corner of the world. and until next time…keep on stitching
