Any trip to Baltimore would not be complete without going to Ruth’s shop Bedecked & Beadazzled, a visit to the harbor, eating crab… hard crabs, soft shell crabs, crab cakes, just crab period and a baseball game at Camden Yards. I was able to get in most of the must have to see and do list, just not having a chance to get to the baseball game. Even though I am always ready for a game, between the weather, needing to work, yes I did say work and that I have been to Camden Yards before, I wasn’t too disappointed about not making it to the game.
But I was able to get in a little stash enhancement for my upcoming class in San Antonio. Ruth’s shop is so uplifting, such a feast for the eyes. Everywhere you look there is something wonderful to gaze upon, displays so thoughtfully planned out. It is decorated in ooh so Ruth colors that are just perfect for her shop and fit her personality to a tee. The shop invigorates you so and you just don’t want to leave! ever! Ruth, can I move in? please?
Every display is just so whimsical, so fun, OMG! this is just one of them showing off some of her clubs The Silly, Sassy, Sparkly Sock Club and the Creepy Characters…
and the Frightfully Delicious Halloween Candies with Kelly Clark canvases and Ruth’s stitch guides that turn these into amazing Halloween candies. These just might have my name on them…
and a wall with canvases and her latest finished mystery class from Zecca…
and the classroom where Robin taught Ruth’s exclusive Creepy Character “Bones” yesterday…and we all anxiously await hearing all about it from Ruth and Robin…
and I need to share more with you about MY class at Needles and Threads of Ruxton …
a view from the window as I am packing. It is always sad to see the show broken down and saying goodbye to everyone. It is time to get home to Sylvester & AlleyCat and besides the next market will be here before I know it! and until next time…keep on stitching
Isn’t it magical? Ruth’s shop has such energy, not even pouring rain will stop us from going there (yesterday I knew how Noah felt back in the days :D). I’m glad you enjoyed it and I hope one day you come to Ruth’s shop for a class. Robin and “Bones” were a huge success. Looking forward to news from the “children”
Thanks Palma! I am sorry that I didn’t get a chance to meet you…but someone had to stay and work! I was at Ruth’s in the dead of winter taking classes from Brenda Hart. I like being here in the summer time. I knew that Bones would be a smashing success! I do miss the children…
Hi Vicky – we miss you already. Feel free to plan to move in. We would love it. Thanks for the wonderful comments about the shop. See you soon.
