I remembered, I reflected, I prayed, I cried and I remembered some more. I watched everything I could on tv Sunday morning including this very special tribute “Empire State of Mind” and then it was time. Time for what? well for some baseball and some stitching!
Of the several I need to be stitching on all at one time canvases, this is just one of many…and I did put a request into the man upstairs for either more hours in the day or another pair of hands. Maybe I need to put the cats to work? well a girl can hope can’t she?
This is one of 13 Halloween Hearts that I have been working on for Needle Deeva. This is #12 that is finished and I just have one more to go! I am so thrilled that I am this close. I will be sharing more of the finished ones with you very soon. A shop to be named later is picking these up as a club! After they are all stitched, I will of course breath a sigh of relief, but than the hard work starts as I will then need to create the stitch guides, yes and if you are counting that will be 13 guides.
The hair on this witch was so fun to do! but it really took allot more time than I ever thought it would. Well I guess that I should figure in some practice time too. Anyway I am absolutely thrilled with her “do” and I think that she looks rather stylish, don’t you? There may be too much orange in the stitched piece between her hair and the background, but it’s not coming out. I am sure that the finisher can break up the color when they work their magic.
Yes Deco Kitty is meowing loudly trying to get my attention to pick her up and start stitching some more. Wait your turn please! I have two new projects to work on too for two different shops. For one I am waiting for some threads and the other, well I just need to get busy. But don’t worry Deco Kitty be patient and soon we will be spending some time together!
Sylvester was chilling was I was stitching. He decided to pose for the camera when I got up for an iced tea refill.
And then there is Miss BB better known as Miss BusyBody. Notice that her tail is laying precariously in her bowl of water. She who God forbid you would get one little itty bitty drop of water on her and she throws a hissy fit! and until next time…keep on stitching.
Hilarious riot of curls! Wish my hair would do that on command but alas! We have very straight, thick hair in CH. Oh, well, we can always stitch the hair of our dreams, right?
I’m glad you are almost finished with the hearts. That’s a lot of work!
thanks Jane! I used to pay to have hair like that!
I love the witch’s do! And as long as it is Alley Cat getting herself wet, things are just fine! Come on, Vicky, this is a c-a-t, you’re talking about. There are rules for humans and rules for felines. And don’t even think about breaking one of those rules!
ooh K.B. thanks for the great laugh! and yes she does have her own set of rules!
Love that witchy! Fantastic hair! Looking forward to the ‘big reveal’ of the finished beauties.
thanks Missy!
Just too cute for words. As always you did a great job.
Thanks Sue! and thank you too for the wonderful compliment…
