Now say that fast 5 or 6 times! well really they were having a Pischke Pocket Party…as Julie Pischke herself was the hostess with the mostess at the one that was just held in Raleigh, NC earlier this week. Check out their pictures on Facebook. It sure looks like they were all having a grand time as they stitched away on the brand new yet to be released hydrangea Pischke Pocket.
Do you remember when I started mine so very long ago? This is the Napa Valley Pischke Pocket. You might recognize it as it was just reviewed in the latest issue of Needlepoint Now. I opted to send mine out to have the pocket put on and Marlene worked her magic beautifully!
This one is called Magnolia and I was stitching on this while I was visiting my sister in New York. Such a pleasure to do basketweave, even though there are many places you can do stitches.
Santa made an early delivery to her with the stitched canvas. Since my sister is so amazing with the sewing needle and thread, she is going to applique the pocket herself. I really loved the way this one came out as the thread colors are perfectly suited.
Elizabeth and I both started this Pischke Pocket “Tuscan Sun” at the same time. Hers is finished and quite beautifully I might add…and well, I am sort of lagging behind as I have way too much other stitching that I have to do. Since this is for me, it is not on the must stitch now list. Might I add that this playoff baseball is the best I have seen in ages! how can I get any serious stitching done when I have to stop and watch? and there are 2 more rounds of playoff ball yet to go? I will never get anything done.
AlleyCat thinking that she might get a little treat, even though they just had their breakfast as I haven’t even cleaned up yet. Oh well, life is tough AlleyCat. and until next time…keep on stitching
Alley Cat, honey, if Vicky isn’t treating you right, you tell her to get you a one-way ticket to S. Florida. Mr. Bruce loves to give treats to kitties.
trust me, she gets plenty of treats! just look at that tummy of hers!
All the pockets are just so pretty and the colors….Wow!! I have to agree with you…the baseball playoffs are quite good. My Son and I were discussing that at lunch..Have fun with Brenda this weekend
Sue
Thanks Sue! how can I get any stitching done?
I also have a cat that thinks she’s going to eat every time I walk in the kitchen. They would make a perfect pair
