A quick flight from San Diego to Phoenix yesterday morning brought us to the Land of the Valley of the Sun and quickly found the way to BeStitched; “where needlepoint magic happens”
I have been watching this new needlepoint store on the internet, through their Facebook, website and blog since they have opened. So very anxious to see it in person and it is always better in person! Arrived at the shop just in time to see Jeannine add the finishing touches on the classroon setup. Look at this amazing table with all the canvas, stitch guides, thread packets and suprises all ready to go for the anxious stitchers! Wow! and would I love to come here for a class just for all this fuss…what is not to love about this?
I took a picture of Missy’s chair, browsed through every canvas, looked into every nook and cranny, added a few threads to my stash and a new cat magnet! Leafed through the books and studied all the stitched models in the shop. I could stay here forever!
Soon it was time for the one of the best parts of being on the road and that is checking out a new restuarant, well new for me that is. Lisa and Jeannine settled on Zinc Bistro and we enjoyed dining outside under the stars and almost a full moon. A glass of wine, wonderful converstaion, amazing food and even better company made for a perfect evening. Now its time to go to work and have our class!
I am missing the kids and hopefully they are behaving themselves, even though Jeannine said she got an email from AlleyCat that she has had it with me always leaving her… and until next time…keep on stitching
Poor Alley Cat! But what a talented girl she is! Typing e-mails!
yes she sure is smart!
Love the picture – it’s like they are looking outside to see if you’re already back. So sweet. As for e-mailing, I never doubted AC’s intelligence 🙂 I am sure you’re having a great time there and I wish we could all be there. Anxiously waiting for my package to arrive.
I wish you were here too Palma! The girls were hard at work yesterday getting the packages ready to go out. Enjoy!
I too am waiting for my package. I know it will be wonderful. Also looking forward to update pictures.
I am sure that your package will be there soon! thank you for taking my class.
