Those magical words…finishing up! finished! it’s done! Mr. Crow is ready to fly home to Aristea, to have his stitch guide written and to be off to the finishers to work their magic. I will anxiously await his debut at the Winter Market In Phoenix at the end of January. Thank goodness that the show is scheduled later in the month this time! As the last 2 years it was the weekend right after the 1rst of the year. Never would have made it.
Okay in case you are saying to yourself, what are you thinking? you’re not finished, look at the wings! Well that part does not need to be stitched as these smaller wings will go over that unstitched part. And Melissa herself told me that I didn’t need to stitch it!
I did take a copy of this part of the wings on my handy dandy printer, cut out the wings and placed them over the unstitched part to make sure that I didn’t need to bring the brocade pattern down somewhat. I added a few more rows or until my thread was totally used up so that there would be no blank canvas showing later. Just incase you haven’t seen what he will look like, this is it!
Okay so I am taking a stitching break for a few days…and maybe you really don’t believe that! What I am doing is taking a break from stitching on something that I need to, something that I have deadlines for, something that has to be done! Maybe I just might sneak in a little stitching on an ornament or two for next years Christmas tree. Just a for a few days will I goof off as I need to get back to more stitching assignments ahead of me.
It is time to finish up my Christmas shopping, start wrapping the presents and addressing my cards. Sylvester is thinking that he is part of the decor! and until next time…keep on stitching
I’m so glad this crow is done! I’m ready to see some of the other fun things in the line up. He’s just not my style at all. I love the kitty pictures and the pillow in this shot. Have a great day! For the record, Deco Kitty is a fav of mine.
I’m so glad he’s done too! and Deco Kitty is my favorite too! thanks Dee and Happy holidays!
