Needlepoint Now has launched a new web site that supports the magazine…and just look at me now! It is absolutely wonderful! So many hours of thought, photo manipulation, writing code, editing, videos, creative ideas and just about everything else you can possibly think of it has gone into it.
Quoting from Elizabeth on Facebook yesterday “We added a index to all the projects and articles that have ever been featured. New videos. New subscription forms. It’s awesome!” and I agree that it is and even more. I was fortunate to have gotten a little sneak peak of the final edits of the website last week while I was at the Needlepoint Now Studios.
The new issue has been mailed and hopefully soon it will be showing up in your mailboxes. We are already working away on the May/June magazine and just where the heck is this year going to? Elizabeth has some amazing ideas that she is putting together for this next issue that will be on…well on second thought, maybe I will just let it be a surprise!
I am sending the latest issue of Needlepoint Now out to Kristiane and Margaret and I hope you enjoy! maybe you will fall in love with the magazine and want to subscribe starting with the next issue. Thank you for your comments.
I had a wonderful time with Elizabeth and the crew at The Studios. We worked and we worked hard and then played just as hard. There were a few trips to my favorite bead place, Harlequin Beads where I discovered new colors of Swarovski crystals and new shapes…well to me anyway such as hearts, fish and butterflies.
There was stitching and more stitching as we stitched together almost every night on Kelly’s Spring Crazy Quilt for the magazine. We stitched most of the day on Thursday with the TARTS (Thursdays are Reserved to Stitch) and Saturday at a little stitching get together.
I got to meet Murray on Saturday, who wormed his way into my heart and my stitching bag. I would have loved to have catnapped him and brought him home with me, but not sure that Sylvester & AlleyCat would approve. I don’t think that Murray’s Mom would approve either, but the thought was there. I understand that Murray does that all the time when the stitching group is there and I was thrilled that he had selected my bag!
Sorry that I just can’t get this picture of Murray bigger. I tried a few different ways of loading it too. He is such an amazing cat that I would have loved for you to see him bigger than life.
It was good to get home, even though AlleyCat sure talked up a storm as soon as I got in the house. She is quite the sassy girl. The last few nights the 2 of them have not only slept with me, but on top of me! As if they are saying if we sleep on you, maybe you can’t get away.
AlleyCat is watching a little kitty TV. Of course it is her favorite channel, the bird channel! It keeps her busy while I am working away on the Mac for the next issue of Needlepoint Now. I also have a few stitch guides to work on. and until next time…keep on stitching
So you were mistaken for a matress too, huh? I had a 70 pound husky thinking I was her private mattress for 2 nights 🙂
yeah but I love it!
Great site. Thanks for the info.
thank you! and Elizabeth thanks you too!
