NeedleDeeva’s Ready for Dallas!

Yesterday was setup day for the NeedleDeeva room, which kept us busy most of the day. Where does the time go? The day just never seems to be quite long enough to get it all done and maybe have a little time to get some sneak peaks of all the new stuff that is being introduced at this market.

Eight new designs are supposed to be introduced here at Dallas. NeedleDeeva sure out did herself with these new Day of the Dead sugar skulls. I love ’em! Robin King will be stitching this set and writing the stitch guides coming soon to a shop near you! I can’t wait to see what she will do with them.

The Fabulous Firs are here too! The piece of fabric that you see on the wall is going to be…well we are working on a special surprise! The fabric is the most gorgeous tapestry and “the surprise” will be made by Hug Me Bags.

The room is ready! But I am not ready as I still need to finish my thread kits for class and put the stretcher bars together for the canvases. At 0dark30 it is just a little too early to be hammering and stapling right now!

I had a few more pictures that I had for you and a bit more to gab about, but my internet connection is being rather difficult…so I will stop now “and publish” what I have, before I lose all of my work!

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

  1. The Deeva’s den looks wonderful! I love the new trees, but I do wish she’d given them a different name. PFOS had a series last year called Fabulous Firs. Some of us need a little help keeping our series separated mentally. 🙂
