I really had the greatest intentions of decorating for Easter this year! Really I did…but as the best laid plans of mice and men…is that the way that saying goes? This is all I did to get ready for the Easter Bunny, setting out my Easter Egg House. The kids did pick out a new orchid for me.
I have been collecting these darling pictures to get us all in the spirit of Easter.
People are way too clever coming up with these captions that explain it all so perfectly!
Do you have wonderful plans for today? For me after being in the restaurant business for so many years and HAVING to work today, anything else that I select to do to celebrate Easter, will make it a great day. Trust me, stitching and baseball will be in the picture.
Whatever your plans are for today, I wish everybody a Happy Easter! Also I send wishes to you who are celebrating Passover. Here’s to lots of great food and great company!
Sylvester & AlleyCat are having their own Easter egg hunt this morning. They seem to know the sounds of when I am making a few eggs for breakfast and are lined up to lick the dish. Normally they know they are not allowed on the counter at this moment, but it’s a holiday and I cut them some slack. and until next time…keep on stitching
Happy easter my friend. And the children – they escaped the bunny ears. My daughter’s cat, not so lucky 🙂 Have a wonderful day
Do you really thnk that the “escape artist” would allow me to put bunny ears on her? LOL!
Love the cats waiting for their eggs! My favorite saying: “Dogs have masters; cats have staff!”
Yes they do have staff and they never let me forget!
I should teach the Greylings and Calicos to wear hats.. It would come in handy for certain holidays.. But then, I am having a difficult time just giving them mani/pedi’s.. So maybe not!!
LOL Lisa! That means that you would need to keep them all…
