It’s All About the Stash!

You know have the fun of the stitchy thing is all the “other” stuff that becomes part of the stash. All the newest and latest bags, accessories, tools, scissors, magnets and so much more!

The Cotton Candy Embroidery Scissors are hands down absolutely my favorite scissors. Small, sharp, colorful and so reasonably priced. These scissors are the best to travel with as they have this color co-ordinated point protector that snaps into place. They have introduced 2 new colors Aqua and Lavender, both a little bigger than the previous ones and the latter one having curved blades.

Namaste has introduced new colors in the their Oh Snap bags. These are purr~fect for a smaller project or just for threads. I love the way you can see through so you know what is in the right away. The other new color is Eggplant and they are usually offered in sets. One is a group of 3 consisting of a small, medium and large sizes and the other is a set of 2, which is what you see here with the XL and XXL sizes.

Namaste has a new tool bag called Skinny Mini and now I am matchy~matchy! (Missy that one’s for you!) They will be introducing a new and improved Buddy Box at the fall market next month in Baltimore called the Better Buddy. Guess what I will be coming home with?

Puffin & Co has some new magnets to add to their wonderful line! Look at the face on that mouse staring up at you…too cute!

A few more of their newer magnets. Why not have a new magnet for a new canvas? I need to find a black cat magnet for my new canvas for seminar…and I think that I have one in “the stash.”

I am really in countdown mode for Philly as always I so look forward to going to seminar! Maybe this year more than normal as I can’t wait to start my canvas. Plus lots of extra activities planned too…a tour through the Amish Country on Saturday, a baseball game with the Phillies and the Nationals on Sunday, lunch on Tuesday with some friends from Los Angeles who I haven’t seen forever! Wednesday evening, a trip to Fireside Stitchery where I get to meet Palma, my friend through Facebook, the rescuer of many kitty kats and stitcher extrodiannaire!

Today I will start packing my stitching suitcase as why wait to the last minute? you can sure tell where my priorties are as the important things get packed first!

I came across this on Facebook this morning…now that would have been Felix. I would love to take the cats with me, but that will be happier just staying home with Rose.

I brought home another box from Costco the other day for them. This way they both can have their own…but all I do is see AlleyCat in one and then in the other. and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

  1. So those tassels, feathered fans, are really stylized flowers. Good of you to follow thru on the question and give us all the answer. I think this canvas is going to be an absolute knock out. Go for it. After all, it should be fit for a queen.
