A welcoming sight to the TNNA members as you can see our logo emblazoned in lights on the side of the Long Beach Convention Center.
My first day at market started last Wednesday night as I ready for my classes on Thursday. I kept so busy that I never even opened my computer the entire time I was there! I will just take you back day by day as I share my market experiences with you.
I was up way too early and had way too much time before classes began! A nice morning walk after I had registered and dropped off my kits and models.
The area is beautiful around this part of Long Beach, and the temperatures are very pleasant!
First class was the Christmas Pudding in purple by Kirk & Hamilton. Chocolates and needlepoint, what could be better than that?!
Jeremy of Kirk & Hamilton always joins the class when one of his canvases is being taught, but this time class was a little too early, so I offered his regrets for not being there.
Suzie of The Enriched Stitch fame was making friends and talking pictures of The Pawley’s Island shop owners for their Facebook! Can you believe these 2 ladies from Pawley’s Island finished their pieces before market was over? Now if that is not the biggest compliment ever!
A Christmas cupcake “Joy” a NeedleDeeva canvas was the next class. More chocolates and more stitching! I was wishing that I could sit in and join the class. Time flew by and it was time to celebrate…
Thank you for making my day to age one more year so special! and to Missy who figured out what was my favorite cake from Michelle Coulon Dessertier in La Jolla. Don’t know how she did it…and then she transported it from La Jolla to Long Beach.
AlleyCat is doing some bird watching. and until next time…keep on stitching
