Earth Day is tomorrow and I thinking along the lines that I should “Green My World”…so I am thinking green in my stitching!
This is one of my snap trays that I got while I was at the Dallas market last year. With cats on it, what’s not to love about it? I really like using these snap trays and there is always more than one in my stitching area. One for the NeedleDeeva birds, one for Bastet which is my mystery class with Ruth and one for the newest project for Needlepoint Now…shhh that’s still a secret now!
I use them to hold some of the threads that I will be working with for that evening. When you are ready to call it a night, just pick up your snap tray and put it away to keep certain little inquisitive paws out of it. These kids of mine are pretty good and normally don’t bother my threads, but why tempt fate? Now Felix…wow he was a different story! He would even dig into my stitching bag to find my threads.
I sometimes use the snap trays to hold an extra pair of scissors, extra pack of needles, a laying tool, a pen or a pencil or just whatever!
This was a picture that I came across while organizing my iPhoto the other day and look at all that green! How purr~fect…threads, beads, books, my glasses and a book.
I have even another new project that has a green background. Halloween Green by Gloriana might be the color that I need! I am thinking some thread retail therapy soon, so I will check that out.
Seems like I was thinking green here too!
This is the big baby Sylvester thinking that he’s hiding from the big bad plumber the other day. Check out those eyes, as large as saucers! Silly boy, now if I see you, how can you be hiding? and until next time…keep on stitching
Hi Vicky,
