Chicago…My Kind of Town!

I am chanelling my best Frank Sinatra as in my mind I can hear him croon Chicago…My Kind of Town!

I’ve never been to Chicago, well except in the airport and I plan to take in as much of the city that I can. A Cubs game on Saturday, sightseeing and a train ride to Geneva on Sunday so I can visit Designers Desk, the shops, the restaurants and of course I have to experience a real Chicago dog too! and that’s all before my class starts on Monday.

I am taking my laptop with me, but not sure how much blogging I can do while I’m there. There isn’t WiFi in the rooms, you need to go to the lobby…which from experienece I need to do around 5AM and when you have roommates, its not the most hospitable thing to do!

Somebody has made herself comfy and sorry AlleyCat, you will need to stay home!

Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

  1. I love Chicago, miss visiting the city, use to live in Milwaukee and would go down to see my sister on the weekends. have even gone to a Cub’s game when they played the Rockies. Have fun, eat a hot dog for me too!!
