I love Halloween! well any holiday that celebrates black cats is pretty special in my eyes. For everybody who is wondering…is this AlleyCat? Actually no it’s not. I think that the collar would be the clue as I don’t think that she would ever let me put one on her!
Let me introduce you to Rayo, one of Robin King’s cats. I understand that Rayo is the senior statesman of a large cat household. You may have met some of her other cats on her blog Needlepoint Study Hall. He was supervising the photo shoot of the Needle Deeva Halloween Parade House ND465. Thank you to Robin for the use of these three pictures and to Rayo for the precious Kodak moment!
I stitched this awhile ago and I had so much fun with it. Everybody seems to love the headstones with their clever wording. I thank Needle Deeva for designing such a great piece. Along with the house, there are 12 little kids dressed in their finest Halloween costumes that are ready for a night of trick or treats!
The Halloween Parade House and the kids traveled to enter in an ANG exhibit and were winners of a first place blue ribbon! Very proud they are. All of these Needle Deeva canvases have stitch guides with them, so if you just have to have some stash enhancement, please call your local needlepoint shop and I am sure that they will be happy to order them for you.
Yesterday was spent putzing around the house. You know just doing lots of little things including some quality time with the kids, a little time for a bit more cleaning out the closets and some grocery shopping. I settled in for the baseball game and some stitching. I picked up Santa Baby as I wanted to audition some stitches and I stitched a little, ripped allot, stitched a little more and ripped even more! I was trying to get the border as I don’t want to repeat the same one from Witchy-Poo as I know that everybody would expect something different. Then the snow…let me say that I probably unstitched at least a spool of Kreinik!
I think that I need to go thread shopping for some better greens for the package on Santa Baby. I have the right color in Splendor, but I would like to find some ribbon or at least I think I might. Or I just might wait a day…it’s not like I have nothing else to stitch?!
AlleyCat being AlleyCat! and until next time…keep on stitching
Rayo thanks you for your kind words. LOVE AlleyCat’s style. She’s got an easy cat life… as it should be!
Rayo! thank you for the Kodak moment…
This looks great, Vicky! Love the individual treat or treaters! Definitely some eye candy here!
Thanks Missy! They were sure fun to stitch.
Thanks to Alley Cat for the surprise look! And yes, I love your kitties and your kitty canvases.
