Well don’t you? Well I know that I do! Just in case you are not sure…of course I am talking about the one and only Raymond Crawford of needlepoint fame, not the actor of the wonderfully funny hit show years back.
As I say “Everybody Loves Raymond”, I should make sure that I add that everyone loves Raymond’s canvases too! I have stitched more than one of them myself. Have you seen the amazing Mustang Sally stitched by the girls at Pocket Full of Stitches? OMG! I may have to put that on my list for Santa this year to leave that under the tree for me.
Needless to say I absolutely jumped for joy when Raymond called me the other day and asked if I would be interested in stitching one of the new lanterns? Well of course Raymond! These new series of the lanterns are very fresh and exciting, and really I could stitch them all. They are small and if the needlepoint gods are with me, inspire me and give me my flying fingers, I should be able to finish this up in no time. But shh, please don’t tell Raymond that as I don’t want to give him any ideas.
This canvas is on top of my pile of organized chaos so I can keep it my mind and envision ideas of threads and stitches. I will need to pull threads and beads for it later today.
The skies were clear as I did stitch the day away yesterday in between finishing the last of my magazine work. Now the hard work just begins for Elizabeth as she adds her magic touch putting the magazine together. This will be the issue that will welcome in the new year of stitching for us.
AlleyCat was hoping for a little treat on my trip to the kitchen for an iced tea refill. Yes I do drink iced tea, always!
Sylvester took over my spot on the same trip. What am I to do with these kids of mine? and until next time…keep on stitching
