What’s the Point? a clever name for a darling shop in Dublin, Ohio which is just a hop, skip and a jump from the where the Summer Needlework Market is being held in just a few short weeks.
So you are thinking, where is she going with this? Well I will tell you!
There are 2 Fab Firs that you can select from…the Jack Pinion Pine
or the Gingerbread Spice Pine. If you can’t make up your mind, why not both of them?
If you can’t make the class in person, What’s the Point? will be happy to mail it to you. Or if you just can’t wait for the club to start and need to stitch one now, give them a call! I just love getting packages in the mail, don’t you?
I am surrounded by needlepoint rock stars at What’s the Point? Starting off with appearances by Melissa Shirley and followed up with Robin King teaching her sunflowers and berries. Wow! I have heard that Kirk & Hamilton, those delightful chaps from England with their great line of canvases are coming to the shop too!
Yesterday was my gardening day and communing with nature. All my plants were watered and taken care of. Lets see there’s a a few plants at my front door, more than just a few out on the balcony, some in the bathrooms and a few in the kitchen. Then there is the “prime orchid real estate area” the spot where the orchids do the best and just keep on blooming and blooming! There are some more orchids on the coffee table and a few other places in the house…whew that is allot of plants! I keep telling myself “no more orchids!” but they are sort of kind like a needlepoint canvas. What you need and what you want are never one in the same.
I stitched for a few hours and then headed downtown to PetCo Park to the baseball game. It was a very good game against the San Francisco Giants and the night temperatures were just perfect for the game.
This is AlleyCat’s new kitty tv channel as she is convinced that that elusive birdie is going to be easy to catch! and until next time…keep on stitching
“In the jungle, the mighty jungle………”
