For a very important date! Well heavens no, I am not really late, but it is a great lead in, don’t you think?

These are some little shots from my Lani Alice in Wonderland Collage. A canvas that I absolutely love and a canvas that a year later has just as much stitching done on it as the last time you saw it. That would be absolutely not one single stitch yet…but I do have great intentions!

Did you remember to set your clocks ahead one hour? So that you wouldn’t be late? well for me, I am not late. I am in the Portland Airport waiting for my flight back home to San Diego and the feline children…

Do you think that today we actually would lose an hour of stitching time? But really we are still ahead of the game as there was that extra day in February. I got some stitching done this week with Elizabeth as we worked out the nuances of The Kelly Clark Spring Crazy Quilt. I guess the 3rd time is the charm for the basket as that’s the number of attempts it took me to get it exactly as Kelly stitched it. I was thrilled to say, I got it! I got it!

I had an absolutely wonderful time at The Needlepoint Now Studios. I was really very sad to leave today, but I know that I need to get back home to the kids and back to the grindstone. I know that I have been quiet this week, but the connections in the evening and very early morning for me was very unreliable…but now I am back and I missed you!

I won’t be home yet for several more hours and I am sure at the moment this is what Sylvester and AlleyCat are doing…

but believe you me as soon as she sees me, boy am I in for a talking to! and until next time…keep on stitching
