This is but a small part of the threads, beads and Kreinik that needs to be separated, sorted, organized and put away for future stitching projects. Delicious colors in many types of all my favorite threads that were tried out or used for the 13 Halloween Hearts and Deco Kitty and a few other odds and ends. Books that I refer to over and over for inspiration on my selection of stitch choices. Last issue of Needlepoint Now and wow, quite a mess?!
I have really have had my nose to the grindstone since I have been home from seminar. The 13 Halloween Hearts from Needle Deeva are all finished! I put together just quick little stitch guide so that I can remember what I did and the threads that I used. All of my work that Elizabeth has given me, well except for one stitch yet to be drawn on Illustrator is completed and ready to be sent off via cyberspace! I think she has more projects to send me yet, for the next amazing issue that we are already working on. Hopefully the newest issue is arriving in your mailboxes as we speak.
Deco Kitty is almost ready for her teaching debut next month. Just one more stitch to be added! I have the thread that I will use and it stitched already in my mind. Well actually I have more than a thread at hand in case this one doesn’t speak to me.
I have a new project that is calling my name and saying “stitch me! stitch me!” I will, I will! just let me clean up my mess first. I was looking for a beading thread and just look at what happened to my beads…
Lets see, were the feline children responsible for this? Sylvester where are you? Nope don’t think it was you….
AlleyCat…what about you? no, again I don’t think so as she is way too busy getting her beauty sleep. Looks like the noise probably did disturb her. So sorry! guess I have some more work cut out for me. and until next time…keep on stitching
When I read the title my first thought was “Alley Cat didn;t do it”. Guess I volunteered as her attorney 🙂 Then I read everything and was happy to read you didn;t think so either. Love the look on their faces, as if they were saying “innocent till proven guilty”.
Went through the organizing nightmare 2 weekends ago. It was a mess but you will feel better once it’s done. Trust me, been there, done that 🙂 Good luck
yes they were good kids yesterday. You are hired as AlleyCat’s attorney as at time she is quite the problem child…even though I love her so much!
Ok, what book is that I see next to the Landscape book and the NP Now magazine? The Love of Embellished Canvas? It’s a new book to me. TELL ALL!
Pretty please?!
Good eyes Jane! It is a handout from our class at seminar and I just had it bound so I wouldn’t misplace the pages…
For shame, Vicky, blaming those poor innocent kitties for your mess!If I tried that, Loki would disown me!
Innocent? hah! I take it Loki is your feline child?
Vicky, I just love the Deco Kitty by Sharon G and what your doing with stitches is terrific. It is definitely a winner and the ladies in Phoenix are in for a big treat.
have a nice weekend…hopefully, stitching and baseball and felines sleeping and purring
yes Sue and all of them!
Vicky, seeing this makes me feel so much better about my own ‘organized chaos’!
do you want to drop by to help me “organize?”
So Vicky, what are your favorite go to books for picking the great stitches you come up with. Inquiring minds want to know!
Thanks,
Mary Anne
I always got to Brenda Hart books first!
