Jump into a bowl of ice cream! Doesn’t that sound so refreshing right now? This is a new canvas by Maggie which just brings a smile to my face. I really feel for all of you that are in the over the top temperature zones and with no electricity to run the ac on top of that! I hope that there is some relief in sight and soon, so I thought thinking ice cream might help just abit.
Today is the last day of market, so I am rushing around making sure I take care of all my unfinished business and making that I didn’t miss anything. Market closes at 2pm today, breakdown and then off to What’s the Point? for my class!
Vineyard Silk booth with all of her wonderful threads, which can always be found right next to DJ Designs. Everybody always shows canvases, but the threads are just as important! I spotted a canvas in DJ’s booth that was calling Elizabeth’s name and soon it will be on the way to the studios at Needlepoint Now.
Cats with Hats is the name of this new canvas by Maggie. Too cute! And no, I didn’t order this one for myself…thought about it, but not now. Not to say that it won’t happen next time.
A new line of canvases by Maggie from the Mod Holiday Line. I really love these and there is a bird, reindeer and a squirrel too. Tough to make a decision as I love them all. A frame to match and you are all set for your holiday decorating!
Canvas by Sandra Gilmore. WIth this beautiful mottled canvas that it is stitched on, you wouldn’t even have to do the background!
Watercolours is introducing several new colors to their line! They won’t be ready for a few months, but I will look forward to seeing them.
A new canvas by Zecca. I like this as I like all the different squares of it. I think they say compartmentalize as you don’t get tired of working on a extensive background, but rather these individual squares.
Market comes to a close all too quickly and it is time for breakdown, goodbyes and see you at the next show. For me thought my work day is not over yet…
What’s the Point? a darling shop a short drive away is where I am headed to teach a few of the Fab Firs.
The models of the Fab Firs travelled with me for class. There were 2 tables set up for the stitchers. Becky & Lynn had a delicious spread set out for us to munch on during the break for our class, along with some wonderful sandwiches and adult beverages. I waited for my class to be over to imbibe. I requested to take my sandwich with me to eat after I was packed.
A wonderful way to finish up the TNNA Summer Market. Teem Deeva is already planning our spread for the Winter Market which will be in Long Beach CA in February 2013. You know by the time the designs are created and put on canvas, stitched, finished, stitch guides written…those 6 months are really never enough time!
AlleyCat was working on her suntan, but she can never pass up her Kodak moment! and until next time…keep on stitching
that vineyard silk picture is like stitchy porn! hah!
LOL!
Wow those threads – Katherine was spot on – stitchy porn – ;p
oh you guys are way too funny!
I can’t believe you passed on the cats in hats canvas! Love the pic of Alley Cat showing her playful side.
There is another market in a few months…maybe then! AlleyCat says thank you!
Always fun to see your photos and to share moments with Team Deeva. See you in a few months!
Thanks Robin!
