Oh no! Not again!

Even though I had a mahvelous time and did I mention a little work too…it is always great to be home, even though it is just for a few nights. Sleeping last night with the kids at my side and under the covers always makes for a good sleeping. AlleyCat is the under the covers girl and sometimes it is under the covers and between the legs, pawing at your legs to get them in just the right position that she approves of. How did she become such a character?

Sylvester is staring at the suitcase and wondering why it is still out? why hasn’t it been put away yet? does this mean you are leaving us again Mom? yes in a few short days I am off again! I have so much to do in a few short days like laundry and packing yet again, ooh I can’t forget my stitching stuff, canvases, threads, beads, accessories and whatever. I have plants to water, orchids to tend to, and lots of stitch guides to print. With not much food in the house, means I will be eating out or doing just a little grocery shopping. We have plenty of cat food, as usual.

It seems that AlleyCat is hoping for another can of Fancy Feast this morning. “Not now!” I tell her. She has been roaming about the house most of today talking up a storm. She is probably still voicing her displeasure of being left alone and I am sorry to tell her that I will be on the road yet again to be with Team Deeva in Baltimore selling lots of canvases! and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

    • Yes! Robin suggested that I need to get pictures so that you can see all of it! I will work on that very soon. It is called Fortune Cookie and the squares are all different. I just love it…
