The State of Ultimate Chill & Relaxation!

According to the Urban Dictionary the state of ultimate chill & relaxation is “chillaxing” and that is what I will be doing today!

No work, no stitching that I should be doing, no stitch guides, no charting, no magazine work… nothing! Nada! Zip! Zilch! Today I am going to our Stitch~In for the San Diego Chapter of the American Needlepoint Group. Spending a day with lots and lots of my fellow stitchers as we stitch this beautiful piece taught by Kay Stannis. I loved the way that this model came out so much that I have selected the same colors. Everyone tells me that turquoise is my color anyway.

Stitching, a continental breakfast, door prizes, opportunity baskets, silent auction, goody bags, a wonderful lunch, more stitching and even more stitching! What can be better than that I ask you? Not much! I will take some pictures to share with you.

I am getting “the look” you know that look from AlleyCat as she thinks that I am ignoring her! She accompanies me in the bathroom on a daily basis as she patiently waits to be brushed. Quickly the meows will start if I don’t hurry up. and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
