About Vicky
Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this?
I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others.
Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
Nice selection of canvases and ribbon, Vicky. I don’t usually stitch flowers, but I’m sure I’ll find something for those gorgeous ribbons. Cats just can’t resist bags and boxes! I have two cartons in the kitchen, a small Satsuma mandarin box she can barely fit into, and a very carton that held boxes of raspberries, where she can stretch out and luxuriously rub her chin on the corners. She loves both of them.
It’s funny AlleyCat will take a box anyday over a bag…that’s why I was so surprised to find her there!
I just read the San Jose Mercury News Travel Section Geo Quiz. The clue was Padres, adobes and a cat door. Where are you? So you will probably be getting lots of visitors! You are the first thing I thought of…….My real guess is probably San Juan Batista or something like that…
I am in San Diego…but I don’t get the clues!
Any chance you will be doing a stitch guide for that Raymond Crawford Santa?
I would love, love, love to do that Santa! and Raymond has hinted, but hasn’t asked. I will have to work on him!
Love all the new products, news, and canvases you shared from market. I think Alley Cat is tired of you leaving her home and is protesting being left out of all the fun. After all she is a star now having posed for a canvas.
Yes she is quite famous now!
