So What Exactly is in THAT Bag?

I left you yesterday with this visual while I was showing you all these wonderful Walker Bags…and if you are just as curious as my cats are…you have been wondering what exactly was in THAT bag?

That is one of the wonderful attributes of these Walker bags that I failed to mention yesterday, that can see exactly what is lurking inside your bags.

Beads! beads and more beads! Starting off with a selection of triangle beads by The Collection. When you look directly at the bead, it sort of looks like any other bead, but look closer as it is actually a little triangle. It will sit up on your canvas for a really special look!

This is Wonder Ribbon. I have not used it yet, but I am anxious to find just just the right canvas and create that OMG look! As soon as I use it, you will be the first to know.

A large selection of Tila beads! I have since learned that they are also called 2 hole beads. Look at all these wonderful colors!

Last is this grouping of round and tear drop shaped crystals with a center hole for attaching this beauty. I would use a French Knot or even another little bead for that.

Sequins in all shapes, sizes and colors! I love these containers that they are packaging them in. Large enough of an opening to get your finger in there just to take out one or two and even easier to get those extra ones returned. They are also great for the shops to hang on their walls for an amazing display of color. I look forward to experimenting with each and every one of these in my stitching. Thank you to The Collection for your generousity.

The city of San Diego has been taken over by grownups in costumes for Comic Con. It is really the best people watching event! As the Comic Con comes to an end for 2012, the OTL Tournament begins on Fiesta Island. What is OTL you say? It is the World Championship Over The Line Tournament, with over 1200 teams competing. It is a combination of baseball and softball that is played on the beach. It is quite the event, with clever team names and everything else beach related that you can think of. For me I will enjoy all these activities from the comfort of my stitching chair!

Sylvester is trying to get my attention. My what a big meow you have! and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?

  1. What a wonderful collection of bling, wish I could be there to play with you 🙂 Looks wonderful and I hope they’re all available soon. Is the bag in the market too? I love the style and looks easy to store our “beauties”. I have the flat ones but will be very interested in that shape

      • Yes it does and I got 2 new ones this weekend (was there for a class with Julia) but she ha snot received the type you’ve shown……..yet (we know Ruth, don’t we?). Thanks for the info. By the way, my daughter loved San Diego, she was able to see more than she saw when she went there with me. Her boyfriend took her down memory lane from the days he was stationd there with the Navy

        • I love San Diego too and have lived here 25 years now, so it is my home! so I can see why she would love it. Downtown is so wonderful and wished that I had bought a condo down there way back when… How was class with Julia?
