Uh-Oh Guess What Day It Is!?

Vodka

Guess. What. Day. It. Is. I just love, love, love that Geico commercial when the camel asks what day it is? Even though today is not hump day as the camel answers, instead it’s National Vodka Day…

I am really not a drinker, but do enjoy the adult beverages or big girl drinks, (as Missy would say) when I am in the company of others..whether it be at a baseball game or with friends and family. You know sort of in a celabratory mood.

Speaking of vodka, I still want to stitch this canvas by Unique New Zealand. I do like a good vodka martini from time to time. The word vodka stems from the Russian language meaning water. Years ago there were a few kinds of vodka…well not any more!

How about this canvas by Lee Designs…I wonder what kind of vodka they used?

I really hope that the rest of the the playoffs between the Pirates/Cardinals and the Dodgers/Braves will prove to be a little better baseball than Thursday as I really don’t enjoy watching a 1-sided game! Hopefully today will be a great day with 4 games on which will provide lots of stitching time.

AlleyCat has never really paid much attention to the printer before, but for some reason she was having a stare down with the machine the other day.

and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
