Putting on the Green!

Everybody’s a little Irish today! Even Mooch…and make sure you check out today’s strip

yes even AlleyCat…

look at this beautiful selection of crystals and bi-cones and beads…oh my!

Just maybe, maybe the luck of the Irish is with me as I was inspired and am so close to being finished with my NeedleDeeva Pumpkin Bird. That is the piece that I am teaching at the Destination Dallas Market which is just a little more than a month away.

When the finisher works their magic, the pumpkin face is the wing and will be superimposed or appliqued onto the bird’s body. Speaking of the finisher, this has to go out tomorrow! I wrote the stitch guide last night and it will just need to have the stitches added and create a cover page. I always prefer to write the guide before I send it off for finishing.

A Food & Wine recipe I saw this week, Guinness ice cream served with salty milk covered pretzels! Make mine a double, please.

Of course I am going to have an Irish cat! Would you expcect anything less? a piece of Kerry glass that I bought years ago. and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
