Start your Shopping!

Ladies and gentlemen…start your shopping! yes well we were in the land of the Indy 500 Racetrack.

A warming welcome for our group. My arrival was uneventful and I arrived with minutes to spare to make it to Sample It! Boy I am glad that I brought a warm jacket as I wasn’t in San Diego anymore.

Meredith and the gang from Elizabeth Turner Collection took a moment from their busy night to pose for a shot! Left to right Page, Beth, Meredith…my sistah! Donna Lynne and Jeanene the owner of In Stitches, Atlanta.

one of my purchases from Sample It! some more cards of Silken Straw. I believe that you will probably start seeing this in more shops.

The Gallereria where all the newest must haves are shown off!

The morning of the opening of the show…

Where we were officially opened by the infamous voice from the Indy 500 Racetrack where she says “Ladies and gentlemen, start your shopping!”

A great show and I will have lots and lots to share with you… I am in the process of getting all the pictures from my phone to my Mac. My classes were great, loved seeing everybody as always, the new items are always exciting to see and the restaurants that we discovered were amazing. New ideas, new canvases and so much more!

Sylvester is not letting me wander far from his sight!

and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
