A Day Without Kreinik is Like a Day with Sunshine…

When is the last time you stitched without using any Kreinik? Well for me, I can’t remember when. I can’t remember not ever using some Kreinik in any piece that I ever stitched. It is that special thread that adds a glint, a little sparkle and just brings your stitching to life.

AlleyCat is working very hard supervising as I select some colors for my newest project. I am working on getting the threads ready for some new Needle Deeva Hearts.

Kreinik is just automatically a part of my needlepoint, just like my stretcher bars or my needles or my scissors. What about you? Have you visited their website lately? They are featuring 25 new Christmas projects for your stitching pleasure. A wide variety of many choices such as these gorgeous napkin rings that were featured as the first choice on the calendar.

Kreinik is also featuring 8 inspiring needlepoint stitch guides to celebrate the days of Hanukkah

Just think what stitching would be like without this thread! I know I couldn’t. I keep plenty of black, white, my favorite golds and just a few other colors on hand at all times. A few weeks ago I sent out a needlepoint 911 call for more black to finish a project. The other day I came dangerously close to running out of white and I have since generously stocked up on both colors.

Today I really do need a break from stitching, from the Kreinik, from the threads, from it all…yes believe it or not. I need to work on a few stitch guides and then will finish wrapping and shipping the rest of Christmas. We are supposed to get a few rainy days and they are hoping for snow up in the mountains, which of course will make it really feel like the holidays are here.

AlleyCat is waiting to curl up with me, so I guess that I shouldn’t disappoint her. and until next time…keep on stitching

About Vicky

Needlepoint, morning noon and evening! what could be better than this? I work on the computer in the daylight hours editing stitch guides and drawing stitches that you will see in the next Needlepoint Now for your stitching pleasure! In between this, there is time for taking pictures of my stitching adventures, Facebook and writing stitch guides for canvas that I am stitching for Needle Deeva, Maggie, Ruth Schmuff and others. Mostly needlepoint you ask? well we will talk about my cats Sylvester and AlleyCat, better known as "the brat". Of course I can't forget Felix who was the love of my life for over 14 years. He broke my heart as he departed for the Rainbow Bridge last year. Oh did I mention baseball?
